Jo was diagnosed with ‪#‎wombcancer‬: I was diagnosed at 42. I'd always had heavy periods so I guess I'd not noticed how bad they'd got. I went to the doctor for something else, blood tests showed my severe anaemia and the investigation began. I became really ill; my GP knew something was wrong but it took my hospital another year to offer me a hysterectomy, they didn't seem to listen to me.That's when they found the womb cancer. I was transferred to another hospital, had another op and radiotherapy. Thankfully I'm 3 years into remission. Don't ignore bleeding, use your voice!
