Womb Cancer In Brief: Deb

Deb was diagnosed with ‪#‎wombcancer‬: I'd never heard of womb cancer before I was diagnosed with it. I was 50 and still had regular periods so assumed the changes were due to the menopause kicking in. I've since found out that post-menopausal bleeding is usually given as the main symptom - it can be spotting or even just a stringy discharge. I think it's because womb cancer's associated more with post-menopausal women that many younger women aren't thought to be at risk by their GPs. I was very lucky, my GP took me seriously.
