Jenny Willott MP Statement of Support for National Womb Cancer Awareness Month
Sept 12th 2013 - Jenny Willott, MP for Cardiff Central issued the following statement:
“Cancer is a horrific disease which ruins so many lives across the UK. Much has been done over the past few decades to raise awareness and fund research into treating a wide variety of different types of cancer, but unfortunately womb cancer still remains relatively unknown... Like any cancer, the earlier womb cancer is picked up, the more likely it is to be cured. Hopefully with increased awareness we will see the trend of recent years reversed and fewer women dying as a result of womb cancer.”
